Oasis.nyTheatreGroup is set to present their inaugural production Pieces of a Playwright at the Gene Frankel Theatre, running from January 27th thru January 31st. Featuring direction from Albert Insinnia (whose Broadway credits include playing Sonny in the original production of Grease, Mordred in the Camelot revival starring Richard Harris, and being in the original cast of Two Gentleman of Verona), the production will consist of existing works of playwright Matthew Ethan Davis (including Highway 5.9 and Salty Tears) and works developed specifically for Oasis.nyTheatreGroup (including Down the Hall and Sinking).

Pieces of a Playwright is a result of the collaboration of Oasis.ny founder Albert Insinnia with actors, writers and other contributors in an ongoing process, with the purpose of exploring and developing work in a creative and supportive forum which is in perpetual motion.

The cast will feature Adam Auslander, Laura Michelle Cleary, Taylor Curtis, Adyana De La Torre, Ian Campbell Dunn, Christopher Frederick, Shannon Lower, Sara Minerd, Nick Neglia, Hugo Salazar Jr., Teo 'Raven' Solano, Stefanie Tara, Emilio Paul Tirado, and Ed Zimic.

The creative team includes Scott Rodrigue (production manager), Teo ‘Raven' Solano (technical director), Erienne Wredt (production stage manager). The production will also feature original music by New York singer/songwriter Hillary Johnson.

Pieces of a Playwright will run from January 27th thru January 31st at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street) with performances Wednesdays-Sunday at 8pm with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 3pm.

Tickets are priced at $18 and can be purchased online at www.TheaterMania.com or by phone at 212-352-3101.
