OPA! THE MUSICAL Opens 10/8 At The Queens Theatre

US and International Director/Choreographer Sam Viverito is directing the Queens Theatre in the Park production of OPA! the musical. This new musical about "life and love on a forgotten Grecian Isle," received the 2007 Howard L. Blau Award was the big award winner last year at The Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival winning five awards including Best Overall Production and Best Ensemble. Carolee Goodgold and Patrick Riviere reprise their roles that garnered them nominations in last year's production.

The full cast features John Allen Biles, Demetrios Bonaros, Michael Freeman, Carolee Goodgold, Shauna Goodgold, Ron Johnson, Anthoula Katsimatides, Evangelia Kingsley, Jesse Manocherian, Marci Reid, and Patrick Riviere.

The show, with book by Laurel Ollstein and Mari Carras, lyrics by Donald Eugster and Mari Carras, and music by Nicholas Carras and Elise Morris will open October 8th at 8:00pm and run Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 25th.
