ONE WOMAN SEX AND THE CITY Begins Performances Off-Broadway This Week

Direct from a critically acclaimed engagement at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, One Woman Sex and the City: A Parody of Love, Friendship and Shoes will begin performances Off-Broadway this week. Starring comedic genius Kerry Ipema and directed by co-creator TJ Dawe, the hilarious romp through all six seasons of the iconic series begins performances on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at The Jerry Orbach Theatre (1627 Broadway at W 50th St). Tickets for the open-ended run are now on sale.

On the heels of a successful national tour and a critically acclaimed engagement at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Kerry Ipema brings her "one woman love letter" to Manhattan - the city where it all started. Twenty years after the groundbreaking TV series first premiered on HBO, One Woman Sex and the City takes audiences back to relive the iconic moments from all six seasons of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda's adventures in New York City. Designed to feel like a brunch date with all your best gal pals, Ipema utilizes her brilliant comedic timing, physicality and impersonations to bring to life the beloved characters and transport audiences on a nostalgic, laughter-infused journey.

The Edinburgh Reporter raves "Ipema switches between the core cast and their love interests with staggering ease. Tickets for One Woman Sex and the City are $29 - $47 and available through Ticketmaster.com or in person at The Jerry Orbach Theater box office (212-921-7862). Performances are Mondays at 7:30 PM, Thursdays at 2 PM, Fridays at 7 PM, Saturdays at 3 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. The Saturday, September 22nd performance is at 5 PM. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theater.
