Victoria Medina's One Nation, One Mission, One Promise is heading Off-Broadway to the Players Theater this January for a 5-week limited run.
What if Thomas Jefferson, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Martin Luther King Jr. shared the stage for the first time, or Frederick Douglas attended a Town Hall meeting with Ellen Degeneres? These are just a few of the heroes honored in One Nation, One Mission, One Promise. Written, directed, and produced by Victoria Medina, this new and inventive production celebrates the heroes that shaped this nation.
With performances beginning in just under a month, rehearsals are in full swing and the cast and creative team are hard at work mounting this new production for the Off-Broadway stage.
The cast includes Odysseus Bailer, James Cougar Canfield, Kelsey Lea Jones, Jeff MacKinnon, Emelie Pla, Emma Romasco, Dana Scurlock, and Samantha Talbott.
The creative team consists of artists such as Layon Gray (Consulting Producer), Andrew Beall (Musical Director/Composer), Lisa Renee Jordan (Costume Designer), Steven Beall (Composer), Erin Elizabeth Nihill (Set & Lighting Designer), Robert Shetterly (Consulting Artist), Sam Cornbrooks (Associate Producer), Jennifer Snowdon (Makeup Consultant), Kalen Sierra Hughes (Assistant Stage Manager) and Emily Pierce (Production Stage Manager).
