Due to the demand for tickets, Naked Angels (Geoffrey Nauffts, Artistic Director; Brittany O'Neill, Managing Director) has extended the world premiere engagement of the Geoffrey Nauffts play, Next
Fall, directed by Sheryl Kaller. Next Fall opened this week to rave reviews and will now continue through Sunday, July 5th at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street).
The cast includes (in alphabetical order) Patrick Breen, Maddie Corman, Sean Dugan, Patrick Heusinger, Connie Ray, and Cotter Smith. Winner of the Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation's 2008 Theatre Visions Fund award, Next Fall is produced by Barbara Manocherian with Jeff Davis and Anthony Barrile.
In this witty and provocative urban romance, a Christian gives an Atheist the Heimlich, and dislodges more than they bargained for. Written by Naked Angels' Artistic Director Geoffrey Nauffts, Next Fall chronicles the five-year relationship of Adam and Luke as they grapple with their respective demons. Timely and compelling, the play places the current Prop 8 controversy in a human context by examining what it means to "believe" in this day and age, and what it might cost us not to.
The creative team for Next Fall includes Wilson Chin (Scenic Design), Jessica Wegener (Costume Design), Jeff Croiter (Lighting Design), and Bart Fasbender (Sound Design).
Performances are Wednesday - Saturday at 7:30pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm, and Sundays at 7:00pm. Some exceptions apply. Tickets are priced at $40 and are on sale now online at www.ticketcentral.com or by calling 212-279-4200.
