NYTB at the Duplex is a monthly series produced by New York Theatre Barn which highlights the latest work from new composers, lyricists and performers. On Monday, October 27, New York Theatre Barn continues this series with an evening that celebrates the Boston Conservatory of Music and the talented artists who proudly call it their alma mater. 

As part of their mission to reconnect artists and the encourage the development of new relationships in order to strengthen the theater community, New York Theatre Barn welcomes a cast and creative team, as well as new music from writers who are all alumni of the Boston Conservatory of Music. 

The evening will be directed by Austin Regan with musical direction by Chris Chung. The cast will feature Alysha Umphress (William Finn’s Make Me a Song), DeMond Nason (Walmartopia), Saum Eskandani (Idol, the Musical), Shannon Amiry, Bridget Beirne, Tim Kava, Ashley Linton, Mitzi Michaels, Samia Mounts, Anthony Napoletano, Susan O'Dea, Tori Scott, Erin Willis, Cayt'lan Wayt and Emily Zuzelski

The evening will also showcase new music from Forbidden Broadway’s Gerard Alessandrini, as well as Jason Snow, Ryan Bogner and Mishaela Faucher (Hey, You Know What Would Make a Good Musical), Jonathan Reid Gealt and Will Larche. 

New York Theatre Barn (David Rigler, Executive Artistic Director, Joe Barros, Producing Artistic Director) is a not-for-profit theater company dedicated to developing new work, promoting the advancement of the individual artist, developing and strengthening relationships in the theater community, and educating future generations of theatre professionals

The Duplex Cabaret Theater is located at 61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue. Tickets are $10 with a two-drink minimum and the show begins at 9:30pm. Reservations are necessary. For reservations please call 212-255-5438.
