MWM Live (formerly Relevant Theatricals), the company that brought you the Tony Award-winning Million Dollar Quartet, presents Red Roses, Green Gold, a new musical featuring music & lyrics by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter, opening this fall at Greenwich Village's Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane).

Directed and choreographed by Rachel Klein (More Than All the World), with a book by Michael Norman Mann, Red Roses, Green Gold will feature additional music & lyrics by Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, Bob Weir, and Greg Anton, with musical supervision and arrangements by Jeff Chimenti.

Previews begin tonight, October 11, 2017, with opening night set for Sunday, October 29, 2017.

RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD brings the music and lyrics of Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter to the stage. This new musical set in 1920s Maryland tells the fantastical and comedic tale of Jackson Jones and his family of swindlers as they gamble their way to love and riches.

RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD will feature a cast of eight actor-musicians on stage at the intimate Minetta Lane Theatre, in the tradition of some of the 20th century's most popular musicians playing the iconic venues of Greenwich Village. Leading them is musical supervisor and arranger Jeff Chimenti, the extraordinary keyboardist who, since 1997, has played several tours such as Fare Thee Well, Furthur, and Dead & Company.

The cast of Red Roses, Green Gold will feature Brian Russell Carey (A Christmas Carol) as Dudley, Maggie Hollinbeck (Once First National Tour) as Glendine, David Park (Matthew McConaughey vs. The Devil) as Liam, Michael McCoy Reilly (Hoots & Hellmouth) as Jessup, Natalie Storrs (Sister Act First National Tour) as Melinda, Debbie Christine Tjong (Missed Connections: A Craigslist Musical) as Bertha, Michael Viruet (Pitch Perfect) as Mick, and Scott Wakefield (Ring of Fire) as Jack.

The production will feature music direction by Andy Peterson (More Than All The World), scenic design by Robert Andrew Kovach (The Anthem), costume design by Ásta Bennie Hostetter (The Wolves), lighting design by Jamie Roderick (That Bachelorette Show), sound design by M. Florian Staab (Curvy Widow), and projection design by Brad Peterson (Cats).

Ticket prices range from $58-$88, with premium tickets available for $125. All tickets are available for purchase via Ticketmaster.com or at the Minetta Lane Theatre Box Office. The box office will be open Tuesdays - Sunday, 1pm to 6pm.

The performance schedule for Red Roses, Green Gold is as follows: Tuesday at 7:30pm, Wednesday at 7:30pm, Thursday at 7:30pm, Friday at 8:00pm, Saturday at 2:30pm and 8:00pm, and Sunday at 2:30pm and 7:00pm.
