THE GALLERY @ NEW WORLD STAGES, the two floor exhibition space at New York's preeminent home for Off-Broadway productions in the heart of the theater district, will present Max Tzinman's The Cannibal Eye, Part One, opening on September 23rd, and continuing on exhibition through November 14th.

The Cannibal Eye, Part One will consist of approximately 25 archival pigment prints, ranging from 4.5"x6.5" to 33"x22". Max explains "I am an image storyteller, cannibalizing the visual elements that surround us to create a parallel, deeper reality. I am not trying to "freeze the moment", but to render a continuously changing world. I am trying to push the viewer to think and feel: ‘what comes after?', ‘where is this going?', ‘how did we get here?'"

The opening reception serves as a fundraiser for the Ruth Becker Foundation for Deaf Support. The mission of the Foundation is to provide unparalleled support and services for the Deaf and Deaf/Mentally Challenged. Their goal is to give this much deserved population the tools and resources to live a "barrier free" lifestyle.

Max Tzinman studied fine arts in Romania, then architecture in Israel. Since he moved to New York City he returned full time to his first love, art. He has recently participated in art and photography shows at LACDA (Los Angeles Center For Digital Art), The Center for Fine Art Photography (Ft. Collins, CO), BAG (Brooklyn Art Gallery), Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital Art Gallery, Atlantic Gallery, MOCA: Museum of Computer Art, and William Penn Foundation.

Max Tzinman's The Cannibal Eye, Part One will open September 23rd and continue on exhibition through November 14th. The Gallery at New World Stages will be open Monday through Saturday, from 11 AM to 6 PM. The Gallery entrance is located at 343 West 49th Street. For more information, please call 646-871-1730.
