The Manhattan Repertory Theatre will be presenting the original work, Crossing Lights this Spring as part of their Amazing Play Festival.  It was written by up-and-coming playwright Jonathan G Galvez and directed by Joshua Key-Maginnis. The piece will be presented April 30 thru May 2 at 9PM. Tickets are $20.00. For reservations please call the theater at: 646-329-6588 . The Manhattan Repertory Theatre is located at 303 West 42nd Street "Crossing Lights" will be performed on April 30, May 1, and May 2 at 9pm.

Crossing Lights centers around two lonely New Yorkers. One is Mark, an ad exec with a unique perspective, and the other is Colleen, a timid secretary with a wild imagination. When fate brings them together, they feel a mysterious, almost magical, connection.  But when a sex-obsessed friend, a neurotic co-worker, and a waitress with a horrible sense of timing get involved, the same magic that brought them together may rip both of their worlds apart. The cast includes Katie Flannery, Erica Jensen, Alan Pagano, Tommy Waltz, and Liz Wentworth.

Jonathan G Galvez is a New Jersey native who has had a number of productions and recognitions in his relatively short career. He is a graduate of Wagner College, where he premiered his short plays Say Goodbye..., Drumsticks, and For Judy, which was First Runner Up in Wagner's Playwrights Festival in 2004. His unique piece How to Introduce Your Girlfriend to Your Parents was a semi-finalist in the Stawberry One-Act Festival in 2007. He was twice selected to participate in Sundog Theatre's Scenes Fron The Staten Island Ferry, a production which premiered his pieces Treading Water (2006), and My Bench of Dreams (2008).

The Amazing Play Festival will run April 2nd through May 30. For more infornation, please go to: www.manhattanrep.com
