Producers announced today that the new dark comedy, MONEY GRUBBIN' WHORES, written by Sean J. Quinn and directed by Brian Cichocki will make its world premiere in a four-week limited engagement at Off-Broadway's The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street). Previews begin on Thursday, September 25, 2014 and opening night is set for Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Tickets are now on sale at Telecharge.com/1-800-447-7400.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a messy divorce negotiated in the downstairs party room of a Northern New Jersey pizza joint. In this new dark comedy, NYC union plumber Matt and his gorgeous, Israeli wife Aviva are getting divorced. The back-room deal is mediated by Matt's best friend Frankie, and Aviva's cousin Moshe. As the couple battles it out through cultural differences, mixed messages, and high passions, one question remains...what is the price of love?

MONEY GRUBBIN' WHORES will star Adam Mucci ( "Boardwalk Empire", You're Welcome America) as Matt, James Andrew O'Connor (Don't Dress For Dinner) as Frankie, Penny Bittone (The Qualification of Douglas Evans) as Moshe and Carmit Levité (Handle With Care) as Aviva. Michael Billingsley will understudy the roles of Matt and Frankie.

The creative team includes scenic designer Patrick J. Rizzotti, lighting designer Paul Hudson, costume designer Autie Carlisle, and props designer Kathy Fabian/Propstar. MONEY GRUBBIN' WHORES is produced Off-Broadway by Hard Four Productions.

Tickets to MONEY GRUBBIN' WHORES are $51.25 and can be purchased online at www.Telecharge.com or by calling 1-800-447-7400. Purchases can also be made by visiting the Theatre Row Box Office at 410 West 42nd Street in NYC.
