MISS ABIGAIL'S GUIDE Celebrates Month Of 'Jan' With Free Tix

In celebration of MISS ABIGAIL'S GUIDE TO DATING, MATING AND MARRIAGE star Eve "Jan Brady" Plumb, this month will now be known as "The Month of Jan!"

As part of the celebration, anyone with the name "Jan" can receive a FREE ticket to any January performance of the hit new play that Entertainment Weekly calls "...super fun and, in less than 90 minutes, the perfect romp for an evening out with friends!"

To participate, visit www.missabigailsguide.com/jan to register your "Jan" name your free ticket. Acceptable "Jan" derivatives also include Janelle, Janet, Janette, Janice and January. (The names Jane or Jamie -- or Marcia! -- will NOT be accepted.)

To confirm name verification when picking up free tickets, a government-issued photo I.D. must be presented at the box office at Downstairs Cabaret Theater at Sofia's (221 West 46th Street, next to the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre).

MISS ABIGAIL'S GUIDE TO DATING, MATING AND MARRIAGE is written by Ken Davenport (Altar Boyz, My First Time, The Awesome 80s Prom) and Sarah Saltzberg (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and is based on Abigail Grotke's popular book - the comedy's namesake -that promises "classic advice for contemporary dilemmas."

Miss Abigail is the most sought-after relationship expert to the stars - think Dr. Ruth meets Emily Post - and in MISS ABIGAIL'S GUIDE TO DATING, MATING AND MARRIAGE, she and her sexy sidekick Paco (played by Manuel Herrera) travel the globe teaching her outrageously funny "how-tos" on dating, mating and marriage.

Davenport directs as Miss Abigail takes you back to a simpler time, before booty calls and speed-dating, back when the divorce rate wasn't 50 percent and Fidelity was more than an investment firm.

During this 90-minute comedy, audiences are guaranteed to laugh-out-loud and learn a thing or two . . . like how to have a perfect kiss (it's all about lip position) . . . what you should and should not talk about on a date (don't mention your troll doll collection) . . . and how to let a man think he wears the pants.

TICKETING AND PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE

The regular weekly performance schedule for MISS ABIGAIL'S GUIDE TO DATING, MATING AND MARRIAGE is as follows:

Wednesday matinees at 2 p.m.
Thursday and Friday evenings at 8 p.m.
Saturdays at 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Sundays at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Three types of ticket packages will be available for the performance. Lovers Lane is the VIP package that includes table seating, champagne and a rose from Miss Abigail for $125. The Drive-In premium package includes table seating for $99.99. Regular Tickets are $69.
