EndTimes Productions has announced an extension of its cult hit MANSON: THE MUSICAL! A long-running 1990's cult hit in Chicago, this dark musical comedy about Charles Manson features music, book and lyrics developed through improv by the members of Annoyance Theater (including The Office's Kate Flannery). Directed by Russell Dobular, performances will continue through January 24, 2010 (after a brief pause for the holidays) at The Kraine Theater where it began performances in October, 2009.

MANSON: THE MUSICAL! is the story of an aspiring musician named Charles Manson. With an affinity for hallucinogenic drugs, group sex, and random violence, Manson and his cult of misfits prepare for "Helter Skelter", a prophesied war among the races in the US. This revolutionary "Family" musical features guest appearances by The Beatles, Sharon Tate, The Beach Boys and more.

MANSON: THE MUSICAL! stars Alanna Blair, Mary Orzano, Chris Cornwell, Alessandro Colla, Leal Vona, Meghan Ritchie, Dana Mazzenga, Candace Roediger, Marek Sapieyevski, Anthony Mead, Alex Dunbar, Heather Lee Harper, Cheri Fogelman, Melissa Ciesla, and Kerstin Porter with musical direction by SeRena Miller, choreography by Tiffany Herriott, stage management by Christina Hurtado, set and sound by Jeremy Pape.

Russell Dobular is a New York native, born and raised in Flushing, Queens. His plays have been presented in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, including the hits Backseats and Bathroom Stalls, The Drunk Monologues and The Godling (which earned him Best Director at the 2009 San Francisco Fringe Festival). Currently the Artistic Director of EndTimes, Dobular also served as the founding Artistic Director of Horse Trade Theater Group from 1997-2000.

EndTimes Productions is an independent Theater/Film Production Company founded in New York City in 2006. Its mission is to foster emerging artists and provide them with new creative outlets. EndTimes provides its artists with free rehearsal space, staff support, complete coverage of production expenses, and, for young directors, a mentoring program in which they assist more experienced directors on full productions. Past productions include Knuckleball (NYC and Edinburgh), Naked Holiday, Easy Outs, and Dead Lawyers. EndTimes' production of The Godling won Best Ensemble, the Sold Out Award, and Best Director at the San Francisco Fringe Festival.

MANSON: THE MUSICAL! runs January 10 at 10:30pm and January 17 & 24 at 7pm. The Kraine Theater is located at 85 East 4th Street (between 2nd & 3rd Aves -- accessible from the F train at 2nd Ave). Tickets are $18 ($15 for students), available at 212-352-3101 or www.EndTimesProductions.org.
