Librandi, Aylesworth Cast in Pollono's LOST AND FOUND at The NY Int'l Fringe Fest

Geraldine Librandi (Pattie Leotardo in "The Sopranos") and Reiko Aylesworth ("24" and "Predator VS. Alien") will lead the cast of the edgy and poignant new play LOST AND FOUND as part of the 2010 New York International Fringe Festival. Also in the cast is Dana Domenick (T.V.‘s One Life to Live and Papermill's MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS), Joey Gambetta, Jonathan Bock, and Casey Predovic (Hartford Stage's Tom Sawyer).

LOST AND FOUND is penned by John Pollono who is also part of the cast, and produced by Los Angeles based theatre company, Rogue Machine Theatre. LOST AND FOUND is directed by Rogue Machine Theatre co-founder, Andrew Block.

About the show: LOST AND FOUND is a brutally funny and poignant story about a Boston family of cops whose lives are thrown upside down when a mysterious stranger appears on their doorstep, forcing them to confront issues of love, grief, homophobia and regret.

Andrew Block recently directed John Pollono's Illuminati and Grace, at the 2010 Network One-Act Festival, winning both Best Play and Best Director awards. Andrew received a 2009 GLAAD award nomination for Outstanding Los Angeles Theatre for directing the West-coast premiere of Adam Rapp's Bingo with the Indians, and recently served as Assistant Director on the Off-Broadway revival of T.S. Eliot's The Cocktail Party with TACT/The Actor's Company Theatre.

John Pollono is a founding member of Rogue Machine Theatre in Los Angeles. His plays have been produced at the Barrow Theatre Group, Ivy Substation, Theatre/Theater, Theatre Unlimited, and Rogue Machine. Most recently, his play Illuminati won Best Play at the 2010 Network One-Act Festival in New York City. As an actor, John has appeared onstage recently at the Odyssey Theatre in The Chicago Conspiracy Trial (LA Weekly Award Nominee), A Small Tragedy and in the West Coast premiere of Half of Plenty at Rogue Machine. He can be seen in upcoming feature film FORT McCOY. John is a proud member of the Dramatist's Guild and the Actor's Studio Playwright Unit.
