Remember your first kiss? Your first break-up? Or how about the time you were flirting with someone...and then fell down a flight of stairs? Allow us to remind you...
Love (Awkwardly) is a new play written by former student and teacher John Rotondo and Maryann Carolan and based on the real life experiences of 12 students at Union Catholic HS in Scotch Plains, NJ.
Actual teenagers, not thirty year olds in a lot of makeup, portray all of the roles. And this New Jersey budding theater company, 14 out of 10 Productions, has just won the Audience Favorite Award in the November Playground Series at Manhattan Theatre Source in NYC and has been invited back to perform again in January.
New Jersey is a state known for supporting the arts, and this unique company puts the power of arts in the hands of the youth by including them in various creative, technical and administrative capacities
Join us for an encore presentation of Love (Awkwardly) at Manhattan Theatre Source on January 9th & 11th at 7pm. January 10th at 2pm/7pm.
For tickets, contact Maryann Carolan at 908.380.4748/ mcarolan@comcast.net.
