Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 has announced that it has extended the run of its critically acclaimed production of Pass Over, a new play by Antoinette Nwandu, directed by Danya Taymor, featuring Gabriel Ebert, Jon Michael Hill, and Namir Smallwood, at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street). Pass Over, which was originally scheduled to end its limited engagement on Sunday, July 15, will perform an additional four performances on Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22, at 2pm and 7pm on both days.
In Pass Over, Moses (Jon Michael Hill) and Kitch (Namir Smallwood) stand around on the corner - talking smack, passing the time, and hoping that today a miracle will come. A provocative mashup of Waiting for Godot and the Exodus saga, Pass Over exposes the unquestionable human spirit of young black men who dream about a promised land they've yet to find.
Tickets to Pass Over, priced at $30, are currently available at the Lincoln Center Theater box office, on-line at Telecharge.com, or by visiting www.lct3.org
