The Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 production of DISGRACED, the new play by Ayad Akhtar, directed by Kimberly Senior, has been extended through Sunday, December 2 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).  The production, which features Heidi Armbruster, Erik Jensen, Aasif Mandvi, Omar Maskati and Karen Pittman, was originally scheduled to run through November 18.  DISGRACED is produced by arrangement with The Araca Group.

DISGRACED is the story of Amir Kapoor (Aasif Mandvi) , a successful Pakistani-American lawyer who is rapidly moving up the corporate ladder while distancing himself from his cultural roots.  When Amir and his wife Emily (Heidi Armbruster), a white artist influenced by Islamic paintings, host a dinner party, what starts out as a friendly conversation escalates into something far more damaging.

Through November 18, DISGRACED will be performed Monday and Wednesday through Sunday evenings at 7pm, with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.

Following is the performance schedule for the weeks of  November 19 and November 26:

Week of November 19:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday through Sunday evenings at 7:30pm
Matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2pm

Week of November 26:
