Masterworks Theater Company is proud to announce the complete cast of A Midsummer Night's Dream joining the previously announced cast of Nick Cearley (The Skivvies) as Puck, Becca Ballenger (Steel Magnolias) as Helena, Em Grosland (The Erlkings) as Flute, Sheria Irving (Broadway's Romeo And Juliet) as Hermia, Jenny Strassburg (Echoes of War) as Titania are Kevin Cristaldi (Next Fall), Andrew Ramcharan Guilarte (Fifth Planet From The Sun, Awake And Sing), Jan Leslie Harding (TV: "The Boys That Brunch," Broadway: The Green Bird), Emilio Paul Tirado (Web Series "Black Arrow Fly!"), Jack Herholdt (National Tours: Peter Pan and A Christmas Carol), Lou Liberatore (Broadway: As Is, Burn This), Reynaldo Piniella (Honky), and Warren Jackson (National Tour: Macbeth).

A Midsummer Night's Dream is directed by Tamilla Woodard and begins performances on June 5th and will open on June 11th at the 47th Street Theatre (304 West 47th Street). Tickets are $50 - $65. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.ticketcentral.com or by calling 212-279-4200.

Set in a modern day playground, Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Tamilla Woodard, riffs on the culture of uber celebrity, where Oberon and Tatiana are the Kanye and Kim of the fairy world. As they argue, their immense celebrity and power creates a hysterical ripple effect in the mortal world.

Creative team includes: Raul Abrego (Set Design), Dustin Cross (Costume Designs), Joyce Liao (Lighting Design) and Brett Macias (Sound Design and Original Music).

Masterworks Theater Company, a professional not-for-profit Equity theater company, whose repertoire will include the masterworks of the theater (plays, musicals and stage adaptation of novels) that every young person should have an opportunity to experience. Masterworks Theater Company will offer a school-friendly schedule with affordable ticket prices ($33 for student groups; $45 - $65 for non-students). In addition to the live theatrical experience, Masterworks Theater Company will also offer study-guides as well as teacher workshops with each production to help enrich the student's experience.

TAMILLA WOODARD (Director A A A Midsummer Night's Dream ) is a director residing in New York City. She is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama, an alumnus of The Lincoln Center Directors Lab and founder of PopUp Theatrics, a partnership creating site impacting theatrical events in collaboration with theatre artists working around the globe. (5 Innovative Theatre Awards). Currently she is serving as the Artistic Director for the Five Boroughs/One City Project for the Working Theater. Her most recent work: the PopUp Theatrics site specific collaboration Inside (Bucharest, Romania and Madrid, Spain); Cherry Smoke by James McManus, The Working Theater, Nyc; Broken City, (PopUP Theatrics, NYC). Other recent work: Long Distance Affair, an international collaboration for live Skype performance with editions in Buenos Aires, Queretaro, New York City, Bucharest and Edinburgh; La Ruta, by Ed Cardona Jr (Working Theater, NYC) Nightlands by Sylvan Oswald (New Georges, NYC) and the development and direction of Polanski Polanski (Teatrul Odeon, Bucharest; The Sibiu International Theatre Festival, Sibiu, TIFF International Festival, Cluj; PS122/SoloNOVA festival, HERE, NYC). She has directed for the Working Theater, HERE, The Actors Theatre of Louisville, PS122, DR 2, The Culture Project, Urban Stages, Dance Theatre Workshop, The Kitchen Theatre and for festivals and universities around the US and internationally.
