The Public Theater has announced an addition to the company of the New York premiere of Mother of the Maid, written by Emmy Award winner Jane Anderson. Kelley Curran joins the company as Lady of the Court beginning Friday, October 26, stepping in for Kate Jennings Grant who is departing the lauded production due to a scheduling conflict.
Directed by Emmy Award nominee Matthew Penn, the riveting new play began previews on Tuesday, September 25 in The Public's Anspacher Theater and officially opened on Wednesday, October 17. Mother of the Maid has been extended twice and will now run through Sunday, December 23.
