Julianne Nicholson Joins Ensemble Of Melissa James Gibson's 'This' At Playwrights Horizons

Julianne Nicholson, known for her television work on 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent', will join the cast of Melissa James Gibson's 'This', at Playwrights Horizons. Nicholson steps in for Parker Posey, who left the production citing health reasons.

The play follows the life of a widow entering her forties, and her circle of friends. The cast also features Darren Pettie, Eisa Davis, Glenn Fitzgerald, and Louis Cancelmi.

Obie Award-winner Daniel Aukin directs the production. The creative team includes Louisa Thompson (scenic design), Maiko Matsushima (costume design), Matt Frey (lighting design), Matt Tierney (sound design). Music will be provided by composer Peter Eldridge.

‘This' will run from November 6 to December 13. Previews begin Nov. 6 and opening night is Dec. 2 at Playwrights Horizon’s Mainstage Theater at 416 W. 42nd Street.
