Artistic Directors Bick Goss and Frank Evans and Board President Stephen Hanks announce the first presentation of their series of new musicals for 2012-2013: NEUROSIS: THE MUSICAL, with Book by Allan Rice ("New Adventures of Old Christine," CBS), Music by Ben Green, Lyrics by Greg Edwards ("White House Christmas" music by Marvin Hamlisch.) Director is Andy Sandberg (LAST SMOKER IN AMERICA; on Broadway and London's West End as a producer of HAIR (2009 Tony, Drama Desk, Drama League, Outer Critics Circle Awards) and the recent revival of Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN (2012 Tony Award Nomination).
A delightfully wacky but endearing musical comedy, Neurosis: The Musical is the story of the loveable loser Frank and his best friend, his very own Neurosis. Follow Frank and his Neurosis in this hilarious musical journey to find happiness and love and to overcome man's biggest obstacle: himself. After its MMTL preview presentation, it will premiere this summer at the Finger Lakes (NY) Music Theatre Festival.

The upcoming season will present previews of three additional new musicals: On Thursday, December 6, DRIVE, written by Outer Critics Circle Award Winner for "The Kid,"
Andy Monroe. DRIVE, set entirely in the front seat of a car, is an unconventional romance which suddenly forces several lives into the fast lane.
On Thursday, January 10, THE PASSION OF ED WOOD, infamous '50s schlock director Ed Wood, gets a chance to redeem himself by presenting his incredible life story. Book and Lyrics by
Justin Warner, Music by Rob Kendt.
On Thursday, February 7, CYNTHIA AND THE DREADFUL KITE. When tween-age Cynthia is unfairly defeated in a Middle School kite flying competition, a whirlwind of complications follow.( Not Suitable for Children's audiences). Music by Jonathan Comisar, Book and Lyrics by Webb Wilcoxson.
