Jonathan Groff goes from THE BACCHAE on stage to 'Taking Woodstock' on screen this summer, the always evolving young talent has been hitting the press circuit to promote the two projects. Groff recently spoke to New York Magazine, and is featured in a pair of new articles.
"We would think your inability to actually control the weather at the Delacorte might make it difficult to convince people you're a god." Groff responds, "Yeah, that's one of the things that's tricky about this role. The other day in rehearsals I very triumphantly slammed my thyrsus - this stick I carry around - on the ground and it hit me in the head. If you're playing a god, you just can't let that happen."
