Jessica-Snow Wilson Joins GLIMPSES OF THE MOON at the Algonquin

Sharon Carr ASSOCIATES, LTD announced today the addition of Jessica-Snow Wilson to the cast of GLIMPSES OF THE MOON. Wilson will be replacing Autumn Hurlbert in the leading role of Susy.

GLIMPSES OF THE MOON premiered exactly one year ago at the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel to rave reviews and quickly sold out its limited run. The show returned this fall with an expanded production and received more enthusiastic reviews. The run has now been extended through the end of March, with performances every Monday night. Starting in February, in partnership with the Algonquin Hotel, the production is adding alternating Thursday lunch matinees.

The following special guest stars confirmed to appear in the show, Monday nights at 8pm in the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel:

January 26 - Andrea Marcovicci (Mabel Award Winner/Back Stage Bistro Award Winner)
February 2, 5 & 9 - Natascia Diaz (Jacques Brel)
February 16 & 23 - Tom Wopat

Future guest stars to include: Leslie Uggams (Tony and Emmy Award-winning), Robert Cuccioli (Tony Nominated), and Gay Marshall (Jacques Brel).

GLIMPSES OF THE MOON, a Jazz Age musical with book & lyrics by Tajlei Levis and music by John Mercurio, choreographed by Denis Jones, and directed by Marc Bruni, plays "only on Monday nights but elicits a Sunday kind of love," (John Simon, Bloomberg.com) in the Oak Room at the historic Algonquin Hotel (59 West 44th Street, between 5th and 6th Ave.).

Set in 1922, an age of anything but innocence, GLIMPSES OF THE MOON follows the jazzy whirl of Manhattan society. With plenty of friends, but little money, Susy Branch and her friend Nick Lansing devise a clever scheme to live beyond their means. They'll marry and live off the wedding gifts, while they help one another trade up to suitable millionaires. The plan works perfectly - until they fall in love.

GLIMPSES OF THE MOON stars Jessica-Snow Wilson (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive Ostrovsky), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey, opposite Joey Fatone), Good Vibrations (Marcella), Forum (Philla) and Les Miserables (Eponine)) as Susy, and Stephen Plunkett (Gone Missing) as Nick, also starring is Jane Blass (Hairspray Nat'l Tour) as Ellie, Laura Jordan (Cry Baby and In My Life) as Coral, Daren Kelly (Crazy for You, Woman of the Year, Deathtrap, South Pacific) as Nelson and Glenn Peters as Streffy. The understudies are Russell Arden Koplin and Matt Lutz.

The production features Lighting Design by Jim Milkey (Irving Berlin's White Christmas ), Costume Design by Lisa Zinni (Associate Costume Designer: Rent), Choreography by Denis Jones (Associate Choreographer: Legally Blonde, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) and Scenic Consulting by Ted LeFevre (Broadway Associate: The Country Girl, Rock 'n' Roll, Grease, Coram Boy, Sweeney Todd). General Management is by Brierpatch Productions - Laura Janik Cronin/Scott Newsome, marketing/PR by Kampfire PR, casting is by Geoff Josselson and the new Stage Manager is Jamie Rog.

GLIMPSES OF THE MOON performances are every Monday night at 8 pm and plus bi-monthly Thursday afternoons at 1:30.

On Mondays, begin the evening with an elegant dinner or cocktails in the Oak Room before the show. Doors open at 6 and seating is general admission. Final seating for dinner service is at 6:30 pm. Doors close at 7:30 and there is no late seating permitted. Tickets are $65 plus a $30 food and beverage minimum. (A prix fix dinner is available for $60.)

On Thursdays, enjoy a three-course luncheon beginning at 12:00 noon before the 1:30 pm matinée performance. Package price of $85 includes gourmet lunch, show ticket, tax and gratuities (beverages additional).
