Drag star Jackie Beat premieres Jackie Beat: IN 3-D! at Off-Broadway's Gramercy Theater on Friday, June 25 and Saturday June 26 at 10:00 pm.
The Gay Pride themed evening features old and new material, such as Beat's filthy take on Dolly Parton's "9 to 5", her musical explanation of the gay hanky code of the 1970's as set to "Tie A Yellow Ribbon", and her controversial ode to pedophilia set to Bryan Adam's "Heaven."
Award-winning drag darling Jackie Beat has been wowing unsuspecting audiences since 1989. She has toured with RoseAnne Barr -- as the comic legend's opening act -- including a 7-week run at The New York New York in Las Vegas; written for TV (Hype! and The Sci Fi Channel's Tripping The Rift) and collaborated on special material with the like of Roseanne, Rosie O'Donnell and Jennifer Coolidge; appeared in countless TV shows (Sex and the City), movies (Grief, Wigstock The Movie, Flawless, Adam & Steve) and Off-Broadway hits (Valley of the Dolls, Tell-Tale!).
