The reading of SELLING OUT by J Kyle Manzay is by invitation only.

Andrew Asnes will produce a private reading of Selling Out, a new comedy by J Kyle Manzay. The readingwill take place on October 5 th , 2010 and will be directed by Charles Randolph Wright. The cast features: J Bernard Calloway, Mario Cantone, Kevin Carroll, Alano Miller, Rachel Dratch, Billy Jones, Nashawn Kearse, Nedra McClyde and Heather Simms SELLING OUT is an outrageous farce about a group of actors who are frustrated by the "rappers-turned actors" who keep stealing their roles.

J Kyle Manzay is best known as an Obie Award Winning actor for Jean Genet's The Blacks: A Clown Show. He has also been seen in Law & Order-SVU and CSI-NY as well as in the films American Gangster and Little Manhattan. As a writer, he wrote Hip-Hop Monologues: In the Life and Mind of Jim Jones, co-wrote and developed Men, Money, and Gold Diggers (starring Robin Givens and Miguel Nunez) and Whatever She Wants (starring Vivica A.Fox, Boris Kodjo, and Richard Roundtree) which combined grossed over $12MM.

Charles Randolph-Wright has built a dynamic and diversified career in directing, writing, and producingfor film, television, and theatre. Most recently, Charles' reconception of SOPHISTICATED LADIES at Arena Stage (starring Maurice Hines) has become the highest grossing production in the theatre's history. Charles directed the 75th anniversary international tour of PORGY AND BESS, currently on tour, andDaniel Beaty's THROUGH THE NIGHT, which is currently running Off-Broadway at the Union Square Theatre.
