On Thursday, January, 17th, Steve Solomon's My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm In Therapy! celebrates its 500th performance in New York. Solomon's hit comedy first opened in a 12-week limited engagement. Due to popular demand, the show extended twice before announcing an open ended run that continues to play at The Westside Theatre Downstairs (407 West 43rd Street). The New York production stars Paul Kreppel while Steve Solomon continues to tour cities throughout the United States with the production.
"500 performances? Who would have thought it?" says Solomon, "When we came to New York, the plan was to stay for three months before taking the show on the road. But the audiences just coming back and bringing their families with them. So now here we are, nearly a year and a half later.
Paul Kreppel is bringing down the house nightly at the Westside Theatre playing the various members of my extended family."
Having headlined throughout the United States and Europe for over twenty years,
