The Irish Rep hopes everyone has remained safe and is doing well in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. As you may know, The Irish Rep is in the area that has been without power. The theatre has been told there is a possibility that power will be restored to Chelsea this evening, November 2. If it is restored by 5pm, only A Celebration of Harold Pinter will perform tonight.

Otherwise, power throughout all of lower Manhattan should be restored by tomorrow morning. Irish Rep plans on running both the 3pm and 8pm performances of The Freedom of the City and A Celebration of Harold Pinter.

Once Irish Rep is back in the theatre, the company will begin contacting those people who purchased tickets for any of this week's performances. Irish Rep will do everything it can to get you into an upcoming performance. If Irish Rep is unable to do that, the theatre will make refunds.

Please call at 212-727-2737 or 212-255-0270 with any questions.
