John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean, the glow-in-the-dark family musical adventure about a trio of fish friends has opened a new block of tickets for sale on performances through December 2010 at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street. ImaginOcean's current performance schedule now includes three additional weekend performances: Wednesday at 11am & 2pm, Saturday at 11am, 2pm & 4:30pm and Sunday at 12pm and 3pm. Additional holiday performances will be scheduled during the weeks of Thanksgiving through New Years.

Created and written by Tony and Emmy Award Nominee John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, Johnny and the Sprites) ImaginOcean takes audiences on a live musical voyage to the bottom of the ocean floor and follows the aquatic adventures of a loveable trio of fish friends, Dorsel, Tank and Bubbles, who uncover a treasure map that leads them to new friends and unexpected places along the way. This magical interactive "swinging" sea tale boasts high energy production numbers, adorable aquatic characters, inventive black light puppet technology and even glow- in- the-dark bubbles.

Raven Snook of Time Out Kids New York, describes John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean as "Absolutely Magical! ImaginOcean is a real treat". Joe Neumaier, NY Daily News says "This 50 minute, big-hearted adventure becomes as snappy for kids as Avenue Q was for grownups". Shelley Goldberg, Parenting Reporter NY1 calls the show "A dazzling production!" Theatermania says, "Audiences young and old leave with a smile".

John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean has been touted as a fantastic "child's first musical" and is produced by Jellyfish Jive Productions, a collaboration of Philip Katz (Broadway Theatrical), Michael Shawn Lewis and Tartaglia who not only produces but provides the voices for five of the characters, along with Lewis (voice of Ripple). With direction and musical staging by veteran musical theater performer Donna Drake (voice of Bubbles), and music and lyrics by William Wade, set design by Robert Andrew Kovach, audiences young and old alike are mesmerized by the stunning visuals and toe-tapping music of this family spectacular.

Cast members includes Ryan Dillon (Dorsel), Stacey Weingarten (Bubbles), James W. Wojtal, Jr. (Tank), Lara MacLean, Carole D'Agostino, Nate Begle, Jonathan Carlucci, and Brian T. Carson, all having made their Off Broadway debuts.
