On Sunday, November 28th, a reading of Joyce Carol Oates' I Stand Before You Naked will be presented at the Gerald Lynch Theater at John Jay College.

Directed by Bill Connington (Zombie), the evening will benefit SAFE HORIZON, a charity that helps victims of domestic abuse (www.safehorizon.org). I Stand Before You Naked presents an extraordinary array of women oppressed by their husbands, their lovers, and themselves - a searing look at misplaced love, infidelity, prostitution, and the primal desire to be loved. The 7:00 pm reading will feature Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Avenue Q), with additional casting to be announced. A discussion panel on the oppression of women, with Joyce Carol Oates and experts from the John Jay College faculty, will take place prior to the performance. Razors Edge Productions, Small Pond Entertainment, and Sarah Melissa Rotker produce.

Ticket prices range from $20.00 - $30.00, with tickets for the exclusive post-show reception available for $35.00, and can be purchased by phone at 212-352-3101 or online at https://www.ovationtix.com/trs/pr/789025.
