The brand new horror/farce LONESOME DEVIL Lonesome Devil opens on Halloween (tonight, October 31st) in its premiere off-Broadway at Cloud City.
LONESOME DEVIL incorporates cinematic elements, stylized violence, and even a dream ballet and promises to be the terrifyingly raucous event of the Halloween season. The play tells the story of a beautiful, Satan-worshiping serial killer who kidnaps a young, born-again teenager and sets off across contemporary America in an attempt to raise the devil. Like a love-child of
Quentin Tarantino,
Martin McDonagh, and
Marilyn Manson, Lonesome Devil is a genre-bending descent into the American fault lines of God and fear and violence -- and it's a comedy. A bloody, bloody comedy.
