'Harry The Hunk' Premieres at Cherry Lane October 26

Harry The Hunk On His Way Out, a new play by Warren G. Bodow, will premiere at the Cherry Lane Studio Theatre.  Performances commence October 26 and continue through November 10.

"In Harry The Hunk On His Way Out, former WQXR Radio president Warren G. Bodow tells a story of love, loyalty and lost opportunity in late 20th century America," explain press notes, "Set in once thriving Youngstown, Ohio, on the night before Harry retires as factory foreman, three drinking buddies, an edgy blonde interloper, and a surprise last minute guest help him come to terms with having scuttled his special unique talent and settling instead for a calm, predictable life in an era when risk, backed with talent and drive, often paid off for those willing to step up."

Directed by Melanie Sutherland, cast includes Gerry Butler, Anne Carney, John Dalton Hill, Michelle Maxson, Paul Pryce, Peter Reznikoff and Andy Schneeflock.

Harry The Hunk  features scenic and lighting design by Maruti Evans, costumes by T. Michael Hall, sound design by Craig Lenti, with fight direction by Adam Souza.  Victor Lirio is Associate Producer.

Tickets are available online at www.brownpapertickets.com or at the Cherry Lane Theatre box office (one hour before curtain).  The Cherry Lane Studio Theatre is located at 38 Commerce Street.
