MCC Theater announced the complete casting for their winter production of Mick Gordon and AC Grayling's Grace, which will play the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) January 23 - March 8, 2008.  Opening night is set for Monday, February 11.  Joseph Hardy directs.  Joining the previously announced Lynn Redgrave will be Philip Goodwin as 'Tony,' Oscar Isaac as 'Tom' and K.K. Moggie as 'Ruth.'

An acclaimed hit at London's Soho Theater, Grace now makes its American premiere at MCC Theater.  Featuring Tony Award and Oscar-nominated actor Lynn Redgrave in the title role, "Grace is a frank and intellectually stirring examination of familial intimacy, seen through the distorting lens of disparate theological perspectives.  Grace Friedman is a mother, a wife and a brilliant professor.  Her bold assertions on the 'absurdity' of religion have propelled her to center stage in the public debate over the existence of God.  But Grace's private calm is severely shaken when her son, Tom, announces a career change from civil rights attorney to priest.  When Grace falls back on her well-worn cynicism, she is suddenly at odds with the moral pragmatism of her husband, Tony and Tom's fiancee, Ruth.  Together, the family must strive to reconcile their ideological differences as they tumble toward an all-too-real personal catastrophe," explain press notes.

Individual tickets to Grace as well as all MCC productions are available through TicketCentral.com or by calling 212-279-4200.  In addition, MCC Theater is offering a two- play subscription package that includes Grace and Neil LaBute's trilogy-capper reasons to be pretty this summerPackages are priced at $55 - $75 for both plays and are available now.  For more information, visit www.MCCTheater.org or phone TicketCentral at 212-279-4200.
