NICU'S SPOON presents Brian Dykstra's HIDING BEHIND COMETS directed by John Trevellini. Spoon Theater (38 West 38th Street, 5th Fl.) Performances begin Wednesday, July 8th and continue through Sunday, July 26th.

Although twin brother and sister, Troy and Honey, share an unusually strong bond, they seem as different as night and day. One late summer evening, a stranger wanders into their family-owned bar. When he starts asking personal questions, it soon becomes clear that his visit to this small-town dive has not been purely coincidental. The extent of his journey, it's underlying motivation and the past horrors that have directed it provide a roller coaster of surprises that keep audiences on The Edge of their seat until the plays final moments.

The production stars Oliver Conant* (The Brothers Karamazov, Animal Farm, Elizabeth Rex) as Cole, stars Rebecca Challis* (Kite Cut Loose in the Middle of the Sky, Spokane, The Common Cold) as Honey, stars David Tully* (Suburbia, Elizabeth Rex) as Troy and stars Kiran Maholtra (Father Mike, Mules of Burma) as Erin

The production features scenic design by John Trevellini, costume design by S. Barton-Farcas, and lighting design by Steven Wolf. S. Barton-Farcas is the fight choreographer and Michelle Kuchuk is the stage manager. Nicolette Dixon is Asst. Director.
