A Time for Singing, based on the novel "How Green Was My Valley" by Richard Llewellyn, examines the lives and loves of the citizens of a South Wales mining town. Virtually unheard since its brief Broadway run during a New York newspaper strike in 1966, the show is a tapestry of choral riches and operatic grandeur with book and lyrics by Gerald Freedman and John Morris and music by Mr. Morris.

The limited engagement of A Time for Singing will play 10 performances only October 25, 2014 - November 2, 2014 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).
