Beds of nails, sword swallowing, fire-eaters, contortionists, dog acts, films, burlesque, drag, comedy and so much more...the historic Gene Frankel Theatre will present the BRAG Festival in August. The festival, a combination of spectacular burlesque, drag, and other special live performances, is designed to educate, edify, amaze, and uplift audiences, bringing them into a fun and entertaining world of cutting edge artists and talent. BRAG is produced and presented by Gail Thacker and Kevin Feustel.
Special guest performers and artists for the festival include Kara M. Tyler (Red Sonja) of Groove MaMa Ink, motion break dancer Ze Silvan, magician Jeff Grow, comedian Robin Schlau, burlesque performers Rosie 151 and Penny Pollack, mime
Richmond Shepard, performance artists Robert Appleton and Brandon Olson, Lana LaRue and her Boomer Revue, film by Joe Jefferies, and more surprise guests in store!
Running Thursday-Saturday over the course of two weeks, BRAG will take place on August 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th, and 21st. Showtimes are all at 8pm (the 13th and 20th dates also have special 10pm late shows).
The
