Gary Littman and Matt Lutz to Join Cast of AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS, 9/3

Producer Cedric Yau has announced that Gary Littman & Matt Lutz will step into the roles of Passepartout & Detective Fix (respectively) in Around the World in 80 Days, beginning Tuesday, September 3rd. They will replace John Gregorio & Stephen Guarino, whose last performance will be Sunday, September 1st. Guy Lemonnier heads the cast as the phlegmatic Phileas Fogg, with Shirine Babb & Jimmy Ray Bennett rounding out the ensemble cast. Rachel Klein directs.

Around the World in 80 Days, which recently celebrated its 100th performance on Sunday, August 25th at The New Theater at 45th Street, has garnered rave reviews for this comedic play by Mark Brown based on the novel by Jules Verne.

Gary Littman (Passepartout) New York credits include Bonnie & Clyde (Chernuchin Theatre), A Fine & Private Place (York Theatre) &Minnie's Boys (The Jewish Repertory Theatre). Regionally, he has appeared in Hairspray (Fulton Theatre), Born Yesterday (Northern Stage), Dirty Blonde (Penobscot Theatre), Santaland Diaries (New Repertory Theatre), Dracula (Premiere Stages), Schmucks (The Wilma), Oklahoma (Atlanta TOTS), Metamorphoses (Florida Studio Theatre), Sight Unseen (Centenary Stage), Moonlight & Magnolias &Chapter Two (The Bickford Theatre), The Odd Couple (Flatrock Playhouse), Annie Get Your Gun & The Man Who Came to Dinner (Art Center of C. C.) & City of Angels (AMT of San Jose).

Combining "The Amazing Race" with The 39 Steps, Around the World in 80 Days is a fantastic update of the Jules Verne classic. Five actors comedically play 39 roles.
