On Saturday, June 30th, the hit Off Broadway show "Growing Up Gonzales" will be bringing down the final curtain.

Growing Up Gonzales opened at the 6th Street Playhouse in the Village on April 17th 2011 and moved to the bigger theater, The Jan Hus Playhouse, in January of 2012. The show received great reviews from the Daily News, Back Stage, Show Business Weekly, WBAI Radio, and The New York Times.

"It has been a wonderful ride" states Andre Rodriguez, star of the show. "We pulled off a coup, we surpassed our own very high expectations" says writer, director, producer Felix Rojas.

Growing up Gonzales is a heart-felt comedy about a brother's goodbye. When Johnny has to clean out the apartment of his deceased brother Cisco he discovers a box of memoirs that shed a whole new light on Cisco. The show is one hour and fifty minutes long with one intermission.

Tickets for the final show can be purchased on line at www.growingupgonzales.com. The Jan Hus Playhouse is located at 351 E. 74th Street, New York, N.Y.
