GIRL TALK: THE MUSICAL Moves To The Midtown Theater As Of 11/10

Following the Off-Broadway smash Girls Night: The Musical, comes a new show that continues the party! GIRL TALK: THE MUSICAL, making its Off-Broadway debut, began performances November 3rd at the Times Square Arts Center. Beginning tomorrow, November 10th, performances will resume at the Midtown Theatre, 163 West 46th Street (just east of Broadway). Opening night will be Sunday, December 5th. GIRL TALK: THE MUSICAL is fun, fabulous and everything female. This latest Girls Night musical experience was conceived by Tim Flaherty and is written by Louise Roche (author of Girls Night: The Musical), Tim Flaherty (producer) and Sonya Carter (director).

Bound to get the ladies on their feet and dancing in the aisles, GIRL TALK: THE MUSICAL features hit songs from some of today's leading female recording artists including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, and Gretchen Wilson, to name a few. Featured in the cast are Sonya Carter, Renee Colvert, Priscilla Fernandez, and Berty Jay.

This latest Girls Night musical incarnation is another raucous celebration of everything that is female. After 10 years, "Girl Talk" must end and the girls are going out in style! Over the course of the final broadcast the two sparing hosts, their favorite sex therapist guest and the shows neurotic producer learn that men and jobs can come and go, but girlfriends are forever!

British playwright, author and television producer, Louise Roche has written and produced six other plays including Girls Night (UK Tours 2003, ‘04,'06), Bobby and Johnny (UK Tour 2005), Girls Behind (UK Tour 2005), Checkout Girls (Milton Keynes 2005), Lucky Balls (Milton Keynes 2002), and Milton Keynes The Musical (2002). Her novel, Glutton for Punishment is published in paperback, and her television writing includes "Where the Heart Is," and "Doctors."

Producer/creator/co-writer/co-director Tim Flaherty is the President and CEO of Entertainment Events, Inc. based in New York City. EEI productions have been produced and presented in all 50 states as well as in Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia. Since 1999 EEI has produced; Late Nite Catechism: The Series, Maybe Baby, It's You, The Yiddish Are Coming, The Yiddish Are Coming!, Shout! The Mod Musical, Tony N Tina's Wedding, Defending the Caveman, We're Still Hot! The Musical and are former producers of Jeanie Linders' Menopause The Musical. EEI is currently producing Girls Night: The Musical, Late Nite Catechism, Sister Strikes Again!: Late Nite Catechism 2, 'Til Death Do Us Part: Late Nite Catechism 3,Sister's Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi's Gold, Sister's Easter Catechism: Will My Bunny Go To Heaven?, The Santa Class and Girl Talk: The Musical.

Co-director/co-writer Sonya Carter has been with EEI for 3 years in many roles both on and off stage. She originally performed the role of Liza in the US premiere of Girls Night: The Musical in Scottsdale, AZ in May of 2007. After her premiere in Girls Night: The Musical EEI brought Sonya Carter and her 12 years of International Risk Management experience from American Express on board as its production supervisor. In that capacity she manages all production aspects from casting to closing night for all EEI productions. In addition she continues to perform in Girls Night: The Musicalperforming three of five roles in the show and has amassed over 250 performances on tour and Off-Broadway. Sonya has also directed several of the touring companies of Girls Night: The Musical and originated the role of co-host Janice and directed the world premiere of Girl Talk: The Musical at the DuPont Theater in Wilmington, DE in June. Sonya will be directing and performing the role of Janice in the Off-Broadway premiere of Girl Talk: the Musical.

Performances of GIRL TALK: THE MUSICAL are Friday and Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM. There will be added Wednesday performances November 10th and 17th at 8 PM. Tickets are $55. To purchase tickets or for more information, visitwww.entertainmentevents.com.
