Shakespeare's romantic comedy "MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING," one of his most popular comedies, concerns a pair of lovers named Claudio and Hero who are due to be married in a week. To pass the time before their wedding day, they conspire with Don Pedro, the prince of Aragon, to trick their
friends, Beatrice and Benedick, into confessing their love for one another. The prince's illegitimate brother, Don John, however, jealous of both Don Pedro's power and his affection for Claudio, plans to sabotage the coming wedding.
Director Lynnea Benson has directed over two-dozen Shakespeare productions for Frog Peach including: As You Like It (earlier this year with Emmy-winner Camryn Grimes); Richard III; Hamlet (with Austin Pendleton as Claudius and The Ghost); Richard II (with Mr. Pendleton as Richard); Macbeth with Jason Kuschner in the title role; The Merchant of Venice; and King John (with Oscar nominee Catalina Sandino Moreno as Blanche). Ms. Benson is also Artistic Producer and co-founder of Frog & Peach.
