Scholars and the media have long noted Macbeth's startling influence on blockbuster hits such as Game of Thrones-and Macbeth is Shakespeare's most terrifying story of crime, power, and the super-natural as a trio of seductive witches tempt the noble Thane of Cawdor and his cunningly ambitious wife, Lady Macbeth into a wicked game of madness, lust, and damnation.

The production opened Thursday, January 19, and was presented Thursdays through Sundays for a total of 16 performances by the time it ends its run on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Frog & Peach's handsome new lower Manhattan venue - the Sheen Center Black Box Theater at 18 Bleecker Street in the East Village.

Set against the beautiful, war-torn Scottish terrain, the play begins with the triumph of Macbeth and Banquo, the fearless warriors who saved the Kingdom of Duncan. But wait--who are those strange figures approaching? Three women? Here? On the lonely, barren moor? As they grow nearer, each is more beguiling than the last, and when they speak, a terrifying prophecy of murder and madness comes forth--a prophecy that will only be fulfilled by a lust for power and buckets of blood.
