Reality star Frank Sorrentino, most commonly known as the older brother to the Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino from his appearances on the Jersey Shore, is set to make his Off-Broadway debut in "My Big Gay Italian Funeral" opposite creator Anthony J. Wilkinson as his former gay lover Dominick Vitale. Currently being played by Addison LeMay, Sorrentino is set to step in for the winter season beginning January 18th every Sunday at 7pm.
Maximo Gianofranco Sorrentino ( Frank ) originally from Staten Island, made his film debut at the age of eight when he was cast in the role of young Peter Baker in the cult film Sleepaway Camp (1983). Frank appeared in several episodes of the popular MTV reality series Jersey Shore (2009), alongside his younger brother Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino. Maximo (Frank) later made his return on the television series "The Sorrentinos"(2014) on TVGN which will be rebraned to Pop Network in early 2015. Frank makes his return to acting in the film Reservoir (2014) Caesar & Ottos Paranormal Halloween ( 2014) Celeberity Guest appearance on seaason 3 finale on " I killed My BFF" on LMN- Lifetime, and a Celebrity Guest appearane on "Say Yes to That Dress " on TLC Network which will air in early 2015. Maximo has several film projects in pre-production for 2015, including : feature film, The House that Wept Blood , feature film, Wretched & Season 2 of " The Sorrentinos' reality show on Pop Network. Frank will be the first of the Sorrentino family to make a NYC stage debut when he goes in to "My Big Gay Italian Funeral" on January 17th.
My Big Gay Italian Funeral, now in its second year, is presented by Bianco Productions. Both My Big Gay Italian Wedding and Funeral are directed by Emmy Award-winning director Sonia Blangiardo ("All My Children", "One Life To Live, "As the World Turns", "Tainted Dreams") and star its creator Anthony J. Wilkinson who originated the role of Anthony Pinnunziato back in November of 2003. Both shows are General Managed by 22Q Entertainment.
