Freckleface Strawberry, the off Broadway family musical based on the popular children's book by actress Julianne Moore, will present a special performance on Thursday, December 22nd at 11 a.m. at MMAC Theatre (Manhattan Movement and Arts Center), 248 West 60th Street off of West End
Avenue.

Producer and co-writer of the musical Rose Caiola, a staunch supporter of children and the arts, is giving the performance to the Mayor's Office of Education who is inviting inner-city school kids from the Bronx and Manhattan to see the production, many of whom have never attended a live theatre show before.

The musical, 70 minutes of song, dance and story, also brings a very important message to kids about bullying and learning to love the skin you are in.

The show has music and lyrics by Gary Kupper with book by Kupper and Rose Caiola. Buddy Crutchfield directs with choreography by Callaway Award nominee Gail Pennington Crutchfield. MMAC Productions is producer.

The MMAC Theatre (Manhattan Movement and Arts Center) is New York's newest family destination for performances and classes. For information on all shows at the theatre go to www.manhattanmovement.com.
