"Savage is he who saves himself."- Leonardo Da Vinci
A new production, of FOUR DOGS AND A BONE opens November 17th at the Bridge Theatre at Shetler Studios. John Patrick Shanley's FOUR DOGS AND A BONE is a satire on the Hollywood film industry that dives into the lives of four people trying to make a movie. Bradley, the producer you love to hate but feel sorry for, wants Victor the hapless writer, to cut scenes to lower production costs and "literally save his ass", as Brenda, the guileless newcomer, who is sleeping with Victor, wants him to write her character into the main role. In the meantime Collette a fading character actress tries to manipulate Victor to rewrite scenes to secure her as the staring role. Agendas collide as we all follow these four dogs, hilariously trying to get their bone.
