FOREVER DUSTY Announces Additional Sing-A-Long Performances, Beginning 3/14

Producers of Forever Dusty, the hit new musical about the life and times of legendary British pop star Dusty Springfield, announced today that the show will host a series of Sing-A-Long performances, following the overwhelming response of the first installment, which celebrated the show's 100th performance on February 13.

Audience members at these special performances will again be invited to participate and sing along to Dusty's greatest hits, including "Son of a Preacher Man," "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me," "I Only Want to Be With You," along with other classics included in the show, like "Wishin' and Hopin," "Tell Him," and many more. Fans are encouraged to dress in their best Dusty blonde beehive wigs and 1960s garb. Supertitles of all 21 songs will be broadcast on the stage so the audience can easily join along.

The schedule for these Sing-A-Long performances is as follows:

Thursday, March 14 at 8:00 PM:
- Special Host: Comedienne Extraordinaire Lisa Lampanelli!

Thursday, March 28 at 8:00 PM:
- Girls Night Out! Grab all of your girlfriends for an unforgettable night on the town.

Thursday, April 18 at 8:00 PM:
- In honor of Dusty Springfield's birthday on April 16, we're calling all super-fans to this extra-celebratory sing-a-long!

Co-written by Kirsten Holly Smith and Jonathan Vankin, and directed by Randal Myler, Forever Dusty began performances on November 11, 2012 and opened on November 18, 2012 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).

The cast of Forever Dusty includes Kirsten Holly Smith as Springfield, Christina Sajous, Coleen Sexton, Benim Foster, Sean Patrick Hopkins, Ashley Betton, and Jonathan C. Kaplan.

Forever Dusty tells the compelling and moving story of Dusty's journey, in a dramatic, high-energy musical filled with some of the most exciting pop songs ever written, including "Son of a Preacher Man," "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me," "The Look of Love," and many others.
The Forever Dusty box office is located at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Tickets range in price from $59.00 - $79.00, with premium tickets available at $110.

Forever Dusty plays the following performance schedule: Mondays at 7:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 2:30pm & 7:00 p.m., Thursdays & Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. & 8:00 p.m., and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.

Forever Dusty is produced by Jorja Fox, Leslie Brockett, Jane Gullong, and Sandalphon Productions, with executive producer Eva Price of Maximum Entertainment Productions.

Lisa Lampanelli is known as Comedy's Lovable Queen of Mean. This equal opportunity offender is a regular on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and Howard Stern's Sirius satellite radio shows, and she has appeared on "Late Show with David Letterman," "Chelsea Lately," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "The Dr. Oz Show" and "Good Morning America." She was also a member of the cast of NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice," Season 5.
