The Actors Company Theatre presents The Runner Stumbles, by Milan Stitt, directed by Scott Alan Evans; beginning previews October 28, officially opening November 4 with performances through November 24 at the Beckett Theatre.

"Repressed passions flare. Could the anguish he suffers over his illicit passion for Sister Rita, a young nun, have caused Father Rivard to commit the ultimate sin of murder?  The truth, when revealed, is nowhere near as simple.  Set in rural Michigan at the turn of the last century, The Runner Stumbles is based on a true story," explain press notes.

Show times are Monday, Thursday and Friday at 7:30PM; Saturday at 2PM & 8PM and Sunday at 3PM.  Added performances Wednesday, October 31 at 7:30PM and Tuesday, November 20 at 7:30PM.  There is no performance November 23.

The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row is located at 410 West 42nd Street.  Tickets are $20 available at Ticket Central by phone 212-279-4200 or online at www.tactnyc.org
