ELECTRA IN A ONE-PIECE a new play by Isaac Oliver, directed by David Ruttura, and presented Off-Broadway by Good Company plays the Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street) in Manhattan.

A brutally funny modern tragedy, ELECTRA IN A ONE-PIECE re-imagines the Greek tale for our digital era. When Elle discovers that her mother has murdered her father and is burying him in the backyard, she sends for help the only way she knows how: the internet. Armed only with a video camera, she videotapes the gruesome scene and posts it on YouTube to alert her brother stationed in Iraq, inadvertently becoming an overnight YouTube sensation. Urged on by the chatter of anonymous commenters clamoring for more, Elle and her family saturate the internet with videos, stirring controversy and piquing the interest of a savvy television producer with plans for a camera-ready bloodbath.

The cast of ELECTRA IN A ONE-PIECE features Chris Bannow, Amanda Scot Ellis, Melanie Hopkins, Ian McWethy, Austin Mitchell, Matt Park, and Erika Rolfsrud.

Directed by David Ruttura, the creative team for ELECTRA IN A ONE-PIECE is Kenneth Grady Barker (Set Design), Moria Sine Clinton (Costume Design); Paul Toben & Jeremy Cunningham (Lighting Design); Jason Crystal (Sound Design), Dustin O'Neill (Projection Design), with original music composed by Ryan Scott Oliver.

Erika Rolfsrud's credits include the Broadway productions of THE COAST OF UTOPIA, EXIT THE KING and RABBIT HOLE. Her Off-Broadway credits include MISALLIANCE (The Pearl Theatre Co), THE COCKTAIL PARTY (TACT), THE GLORY OF LIVING (MCC, directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman), HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE (Vineyard at the Century Theatre), LOVE'S FIRE (The Public Theatre/Acting Company), TROUT STANLEY (Renaissant Arts at the Culture Project), O, PIONEERS! (Women's Project/Acting Company), USER 927 (HERE Space) and ECLIPSED (Irish Repertory Theatre).
