FACT Theatre Company and Joria Productions presents EEK, A MOUSICAL - a 21st century update based on the Aesop fable "The Town Mouse & The Country Mouse" at Joria Mainstage from January 27th through February 5th. EEK takes the classic Aesop Fable and makes it contemporary. A City Mom wants a little peace and quiet at the dinner table away from the screeching traffic, cell phones and texting. She accepts an invitation for her family to visit her sister in the country where they have to go through a cultural adjustment. The city mice are not keen on sewing circles, crawdad fishing and Hard Red Spring Wheat Pageants and each family gets to learn a bit about how the other group lives. This is all done through high spirited songs, dance and quick paced dialogue. Critics have called the score "jubilant and joyful" during the shows debut in regional theatre last year.

This production of EEK additionally features Michael Sazonov as Charles, The Country Dad Marcia Sofley as Caroline, The Country Daughter, Toni Stanton who was featured in Angela Lansbury: A Celebration, Christmas Rappings as Bara, The City Mom, Marcus Conerly as Brad, The City Dad, Melissa Robinette as Brianna, The CityDaughter, and Emily Coffin as Ben, The City Son.
