Danny Gardner and Natalie Charle Ellis Join the Cast of NEUROSIS

NEUROSIS, a new musical with a book by Allan Rice, music by Ben Green, and lyrics by Greg Edwards, announced today that Danny Gardner (Dames at Sea) and Natalie Charle Ellis (School of Rock) will be joining the cast as "Frank" and "Samantha," respectively, beginning September 26, 2018.

Directed by Andy Sandberg (Straight, Application Pending) and choreographed by Shea Sullivan (Pageant), Neurosis began performances on July 25, 2018 and officially opened on August 17 at the DR2 Theatre (103 E 15th St, New York, NY) for a run through October 7, 2018.

They say the biggest obstacle to success is getting over yourself. Maybe that's why struggling magician Frank and overworked marketing executive Abby find themselves stuck in life at the cusp of 30. Luckily, they each have their best friend to help them. Unluckily, those friends are their Neuroses. A modern musical comedy with a psychiatric twist, Neurosis is a story about finding happiness, falling in love, and dealing with that little voice in your head along the way.

NEUROSIS currently features Jennifer Blood (Matilda) as "Abby," two-time Tony Award nominee Joel Blum (Steel Pier; Show Boat) as "Kenny," Brennan Caldwell(Baghdaddy) as "Neurosis," Casey Erin Clark (Les Miserables National Tour) as "Samantha," Susan J. Jacks (Ionescopade) as "Geri," Ian Michael Stuart (Escape to Margaritaville) as "Kurt/Larry/Others," Morgan Weed (American Psycho) as "Neurosalina," and Kevin Zak (Clinton! The Musical) as "Frank."

NEUROSIS features Music Direction by David Aaron Brown, Scenic Design by Charlie Corcoran (Shining City, Irish Rep), Lighting Design by Jake DeGroot (Oh, Hello), Costume Design by Tony Award nominee Michael McDonald (Hair), Sound Design by David Sanderson (Pageant), Casting by Jason Styres, CSA & Andrea Zee, CSA, and the production stage manager is Gregory Fletcher.

The performance schedule for Neurosis is Wednesdays at 7:30pm, Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2:30pm and 8pm, and Sunday at 3pm.
