Kevin Ray Johnson (Playwright of The Unpredictable Times) will be bringing three of his short plays in staged readings Off-Broadway to the Davenport Theatre, June 5th at 5:30 pm and 6:45 pm.

The night will be called "Before it got Unpredictable: Short Plays by Kevin Ray Johnson," and the three shows included will be 'The Next Day,' 'Life inside an Open Kaije' and 'A Week in the Life of Norah Andrews.'

The night will be co-directed by the playwright Johnson and LeShawn Bell.

Remy Zaken* (OBC of Spring Awakening, Off Broadway: Dear Evan Hansen, Brooklynite - pictured, left) and Max King (Seven Brides for Seven Brothers 2015 Tour) will star in the coming of age short drama 'The Next Day' (The short play that initially became The Unpredictable Times).

Joe Sergio (NYMF 2014: 210 Amlent Avenue (u/s for Jason Gotay), Hair dir. Ben Vereen) will take on the title role of Kaije in 'Life inside an Open Kaije,' which chronicles the playwright Johnson's life while living with diabetes and in 2009 was reviewed as "a compelling story with the actors stretched beautifully," by the Washington City Paper in Washington DC.

Lora Nicolas (Here Lies Love Workshop at The Public Theater, Regional: Kim in Miss Saigon) will be Norah Andrews in the comedy 'A Week in the life of Norah Andrews.'

Rounding out the rest of the cast in the shows will be Matt Welsh* (APAC's Merrily We Roll Along, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Human Race Theatre's The Full Monty), LeShawn Bell, Haylie Kinsler, Patrick Mounce (Hair dir. Ben Vereen) and Khadija 'Kat' Sallet.

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at beforeitgotunpredictable.brownpapertickets.com, beginning April 18th. The Davenport Theatre is located at 354 West 45th Street, New York, NY 10036.
