MISSED CONNECTIONS NYC has announced the return engagement of the acclaimed MISSED CONNECTIONS: An Exploration into the Online Postings of Desperate Romantics, created by Ricky Dunlop. MISSED CONNECTIONS will play at 9:00pm for a six-week limited engagement at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street). Performances begin tonight, September 6. Press are invited to all performances.

In MISSED CONNECTIONS, a cast of colorful comedians take on the sometimes touching, sometimes torrid, and almost always grammatically incorrect postings on Craigslist's most notorious section. The show, being equal parts stand-up and improv, comes to life through dozens of unique characters. With fresh material and a new guest star from TV, film, or Broadway each week, the audience never quite knows what they're about to see.

The production stars Jennifer Jean Anderson* (The Hole, The Great American Trailer Park Musical), Michael Lorz* ("Gotham", "Elementary", Rock of Ages at Gateway Playhouse), and Jake McKenna (Host of Bound for Broadway and So You Think You Can Belt?).

The show also features special guest stars. On September 6 Andy Moskowitz (The Magnet Theater), on September 27 Amy Jo Jackson* (dialect coach for Broadway's Kinky Boots), and October 4 Jessica Kirson ("Last Comic Standing", "The View", "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno"), with more to be announced in upcoming weeks.

MISSED CONNECTIONS plays the following schedule: Tuesdays at 9:00 pm on September 6 & 27; October 4 & 18; and November 15 & 29. Tickets are $20 and are now available online here. Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the theater's box office, ½ hour prior to performance. Running Time: 75 minutes. More info at missedconnectionsshow.com/Missed_Connections.html.
