59E59 Theaters has announced the lineup of shows for the 2017 Summer Season at 59E559 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Summer season is a time to relax, unwind, and catch some of the hottest new plays in NYC at 59E59's three cool theaters.

The summer season kicks off with the NYC summer staple, EAST TO EDINBURGH, the festival that features shows on their way to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. July and August heats up with the return of the coolest short play festival in NYC, SUMMER SHORTS, now celebrating its 11th year.

In August, A REAL BOY treats audiences to a moving mix of puppetry and live-action to bring the story of a boy who grows strings to live. Moving us into September, one of Ireland's greatest incubators of new plays, Fishable, return to 59E59 with CHAROLAIS, an un-moo-sual love triangle. Penguin Rep is back to share the behind the scenes story of Disney's beloved film Fantasia in SMALL WORLD. And closing out 59E59's summer season is NO WAKE, the New York premiere of a heart wrenching new play from Chicago's Route 66 Theatre Company.

Ticket prices range from $15 - $35 ($12 - $24.50 for 59E59 Members).
